JANUARY 4th, 2015

Galatians 6:9 (NIV) Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Hunger subsided. Had a very busy day. Hard decision seemed to be the order of the day.

My wife, Mary is rearranging our house. Flip-flopping the office and living room, in preparation for the new Econo Publishing Business. (EconoPublishing,com) This move will make it easier to work and broadcast. This will allow us to take full advantage for recording shows, live google hangouts. Video blogging and live shows.

Day 4 is going well.

The "JESUS" film

DAY 3: THOUGHT AND SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY

Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."

"What an incredible statement: Jesus actually said that all things are possible to him who believes". 

Every thought you think every word you say is an affirmation! All of our self-talk or inner dialogue is a stream of affirmations. We are continually affirming subconsciously with our words and thoughts and this flow of affirmations is creating our life experience in every moment.

2015 SUCCESS THOUGHTS 

• I expect to be successful in all of my endeavors. 
• Success is my natural state.
• I easily find solutions to challenges and roadblocks and move past them quickly.
• Mistakes and setbacks are stepping stones to my success because I learn from them.
• Every day in every way, I am becoming more and more successful.
• I feel successful with my life right now, even as I work toward future success.
• I know exactly what I need to do to achieve success.
• I see fear as the fuel for my success and take bold action in spite of fear.
• I feel powerful, capable, confident, energetic, and on top of the world.
• I have an intention for success and know it is a reality awaiting my arrival.

The Lord showed me this Scripture in August of 2010. I wrote in on a card and read it many times each day. This was my Camp Florence Bible Promise. 
Psalm 142:7  Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise Your name; The righteous shall surround me, For You shall deal bountifully with me.

This is one of the most meaningful songs and beautifully performed!

I don’t feel hungry today, however, I am a little light headed.  I started the morning with a cup of warm chicken broth, only 5 calories, this helps with the salt up keep.

When I started the fast on January 1, I weighed 378 pounds. My weight today was 369, 9 pounds in 3 days.

I am sensing that a major revelation is about to surface. I think it is concerning HELPS Resource Center Ministry and broadcasting our programs on the Internet rather than terrestrial radio.

Today the hunger for food was quite extreme. I had to stand on the word - I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHEN ME - that include completing this 40 Day - 40 Night Fast.

Praise the LORD I made it through the 1st & 2nd day. I am very excited to see what the HOLY SPIRIT has to teach me as I proceed. I truly believe it is preparation for The International Ministry of HELPS. That the LORD JESUS is preparing me for my release and things HE want to accomplish through me.

James 4:13-17
Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit"; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that." The Bible records many events where a fast was proclaimed. The most important fast ever proclaimed by the Holy Spirit for a major undertaking was through Jesus.  40 days and 40 nights.  This fast was the foundation that provided salvation for all of mankind.

​ "The lord has called me to a great ministry".  The International Ministry of HELPS and the HELPS Resource Center. (Hands Eternally Lifting Peoples Spirit) The HELPS ministry that will affect millions of people that have dire needs to be fulfilled.

The HELPS Resource Center is a non-profit Corporation, in the process of applying for a 501(c) (3) public charity tax status.  The HELPS Resource Center is offering HELP to all who need a helping hand.  Homeless people, ex-offenders, low income people, runaways, handicapped persons, veterans or anyone needing a temporary hand up. “I believe this is the reason the Lord through the Holy Spirit has proclaimed this 40 day 40 night fast for me”.

​AUTHORS BACK GROUND: ​Through an extreme set of events in my life, I found myself serving a 72 month sentence in a Federal Prison Camp for money laundering. I will go into that story another time.  While I was at prison camp, I ministered in the Camp Church. I had heard the phrase: WHY DON'T YOU JUST GO TO HELL. I made a point to the person that they shouldn't wish that fate on anybody.  His response back was: “Well, why don't you tell us what Hell is like”?  So, in response, I wrote a message titled: SO YOU WANT TO GO TO HELL.  I used all the Bible references I could find; and many men came to know the LORD because of that message.

There is a REAL HELL.  I wanted to experience HELL in such a way that I would know how to explain it to another person. I wanted to explain it with such authority that people would want to know Jesus and not ever want to go there or have anyone they know and love to go there either.  I prayed and asked the Lord to show me what being in Hell is really like.

When I asked for this Hell experience I had no thoughts of writing a book.  The Holy Spirit has directed me to write down all I saw, heard and felt, and to let the WORLD KNOW – HELL IS REAL, I WAS THERE!

 Day 1 - The Journey Begins: January 1st, 2015

The HOLY SPIRIT has proclaimed and called me, Larry E. "Buck" Hunter, to this period of Fasting and Prayer. 

To begin on January 1st, 2015 at 12:01 AM and end on February, 10th, 2015 at 1 AM. The Holy Spirit also directed me to record a diary of each day to be used for encouraging and teaching others the benefits of fasting.

WHEN YOU FAST - NOT IF YOU FAST

Mathew 6:16-18 - Whenever you fast do not look gloomy, sour or dreary like the hypocrites, for they put on dismal countenance, that their fasting maybe apparent to and seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full already. 

But when you fast, perfume your head and wash your face, so that your fasting may not be noticed by men, but by your FATHER, who sees in secret; and your FATHER, who in secret, will REWARD you in the open.

You notice in that verse it is WHEN YOU FAST, not IF YOU FAST. Also the LORD promises you a reward for the fast. (More on this later)

FASTING IS A TOOL TO USE FOR BREAKING THE YOKES OF OPPRESSION'S

Isaiah 58: 6-10. Is not this the FAST that I have chosen: To lose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bonds of the yoke, to let the oppressed to go free, and that you break every enslaving yoke? 

Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house?

When you see the naked that you cover him, and that you hide not yourself from the needs of your own flesh and blood.

The shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life)

Shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with GOD)

Shall go before your [conducting you to peace and prosperity] and the Glory of the LORD shale be your rear guard. 

(Isaiah 52:12 and the GOD of Israel will be your REAR GUARD.)

Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shale cry, and He will say, HERE I AM. If you take away from your midst yokes of oppression [Wherever you find them], the finger pointed in scorn [towards the oppressed or the godly], and every form of false, harsh, unjust, and wicked speaking.

And if your pour out that with which you sustain your own life for the hungry and satisfy the need of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in darkness, and your obscurity and gloom become like the noonday.
