Well the week went by very fast. I
dropped 16 pounds this week. I weighed in this morning at 362 pounds.
The only health problems I have
experienced is a slight dizziness if I stand up to fast. Or move my head back
or side to side too quickly. Other than I have lost no strength.
I had a time of prayer with my brother
in law Steve. He was facing a major brain surgery today. Praise the Lord he came through the operation
successfully.
One of my son in laws had emergency
surgery on his stomach, this was life threatening, He also made it through
successfully.
My sister in law Shearl also surgery on her arm today. Her surgery was also successful.

DAY 6: THOUGHT AND SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
Christians
should carry spiritual green cards to remind us that our citizenship is in
heaven. God says his children are to think differently about life from the way
unbelievers do. “All they think about is this life here on earth. But we are
citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives.” Real believers
understand that there is far more to life than just the few years we live on
this planet.
WHAT IS THE MEASURE OF MY DAYS?
Psalm 39:4-6“Lord, remind me how brief my time on
earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered - how fleeting my life is.
You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand. My entire lifetime
is just a moment to you; at best, each of us is but a breath.” Interlude. We
are merely moving shadows, and all our busy rushing ends in nothing. We heap up
wealth, not knowing who will spend it.

Today
I had to travel to Boise to the VA Medical center for my annual physical. All was well. I’m healthy. From
there I met my granddaughter to give her. Her new Driver Licence. Then drove another 50 miles to pick up my
oldest daughter Shane Lee and run errands.
Then drove 30 miles back to my home. So
altogether today I gave blood, bend over, coughed, breath in – breath out, BP,
mouth, eyes and ears, plus 2 new pairs glasses ($400.00 Gift from the VA).
Drove over 125 miles all with no food. LOLI
am not hungry and my intestinal track is just about cleaned out. I can tell you

About Tomorrow
Come now, you who say, "Today or
tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and
sell, and make a profit"; whereas you do not know what will
happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears
for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought to
say, "If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or

Today has been a very interesting day. As I told you
yesterday we are rearranging our home to accommodate the Econo Publishing,
Helps Weight Loss Club, The HELPS Resource Center and our Broadcasting
Company.
My wife I a real trouper. (We are in our 60's) She moved all the office desks and furniture plus all the living room in a 24 hour period. Would
have taken most people 3 days to do what she has done.
Well, then the Lord started talking to me about all the
STUFF we hold so dearly. I am sort of a
hoarder. I may not need it today, could
use it sometime, so I keep it. So the Lord reminded me “About Tomorrow” and the "Rich Fool".

mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of
God.
So started the process of downsizing. Example: we had a Chaise Lounge Sofa. It is
only 5 years old. I did not want to give
it up. But, we have no room for it now, with changes being made. (Right about
then is when he Lord reminded me of the FOOL.) Was I going to let a chair stand
in the road of what he has called me to do?
Mary said, “Put a FREE ad on Craig’s List”. Fin a family in
need of a sofa. WOW! 1 got 22 calls in
12 minutes. A man by the name of Mike was one of the callers. When I heard his voice, The Holy Spirit said,
“He’s the one”! When he showed up to
pick the sofa up he was a wounded vet with only one arm. His fiancée was very happy to get a good sofa
and both were so thankful. I am happy that I listened to the Holy Spirit. Now that family has very nice Chaise Lounge Sofa. Maybe they were praying for one!!
So that is how my day went. Physically I am doing well. It is really hard to believe just how much food directs our lives. What blessing to hear from the Lord.

from the crowd said to Him, "Teacher, tell my brother to divide the
inheritance with me." But He said to
him, n "Man, who made Me a judge or an arbitrator over
you?" And He said to them, "Take heed and beware
of covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the
things he possesses." Then He spoke a parable to them,

plentifully. "And he thought within himself, saying, 'What
shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?' "So he
said, 'I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I
